The Truth will make You Free — John 8:32
The vision for Faith Academy started in the early 60’s and took off on January 8, 1964 after seven Christians prayerfully decided to contribute Rs. 3,000/- each to build a good Christian school in this area. Mrs. Mary Dorsey became the first Principal and Mr. Jeffroy, the first Manager. Mrs. Persis Massey, who suggested starting a Christian school, left a lucrative post at Frank Anthony School to join Faith Academy — a true act of sacrifice for the Lord’s work.
For more than two decades, Faith Academy operated from small rented rooms in East Patel Nagar. After receiving the Promised Land, Phase I rose from the earth. It was a proud moment when Ms. J. Khanna as Principal, alongside 1,500 students and 75 staff, walked majestically into the school’s own building — spacious, sprawling, and full of promise. For the first time, Faith Academy came under one roof. On March 31, 1991, Phase II emerged beautifully beside Phase I.
A new chapter opened as Faith Academy II was born. Around 300 students joined with 15 teachers, answering the ever-growing demand of parents seeking a good school for their children. Principal Dr. M. Kannan of Faith Academy I and Principal Mrs. E. Robert of Faith Academy II provided able leadership, guiding both institutions toward a shared vision of excellence rooted in Christian values.
July 29, 2017 became a red letter day in Faith Academy’s history — the inauguration of Phase III with state-of-the-art facilities. India’s first hydraulic stage among schools, the brainchild of Honorary Manager Mr. S. Robert, saw its grand opening the same day. Its inimitable structure enthralled all who witnessed it, standing as a testament to the school’s ceaseless pursuit of excellence.

The journey of Faith Academy is a long and arduous one — from rubbish-filled land to the Garden of Eden. Thousands of students have graduated in the last six decades, placed in high positions across the country and abroad. Known for its Christian values and beautiful Vere Foster handwriting, Faith Academy grows leaps and bounds in its mission toward perfection. All this was possible because of people who loved the Lord and sacrificed their lives in establishing a good Christian school in Delhi.
Do you think it would have been possible without God’s help? The answer is an emphatic NO.
— Mr. S. Robert, Honorary Manager, Managing Committee since 1976
