Like Reads: 41 On May 9th, 2025, the campus of Faith Academy was brimming with creativity, joy, and heartfelt emotions as our young students from Classes I to V came together to honour the most cherished women in their lives—their mothers. Each class participated in a special Mother’s Day-themed activity designed not only to spark imagination but also to express gratitude and love through handmade crafts. Class I – Mother’s Day Flower ArtThe little artists of Class I poured their hearts into creating vibrant flower art. With tiny hands and big smiles, they crafted colorful blooms that symbolized the beauty and warmth of a mother’s love. Class II – Mother’s Day BouquetOur Class II students took it a step further by designing thoughtful bouquets using paper, ribbons, and a whole lot of love. These paper bouquets were not just art pieces but heartfelt gifts that spoke volumes of their affection. Class III – Mother’s Day CapClass III surprised everyone with their imaginative Mother’s Day caps. With fun colors, glitter, and sweet messages, the caps were a perfect mix of fun and emotion—just like the bond between a mother and child. Class IV – Mother’s Day CardNo celebration is complete without a heartfelt message, and Class IV did just that with their Mother’s Day cards. From hand-drawn hearts to touching notes, the students expressed their deepest feelings in beautiful words and artwork. Class V – Mother’s Day BagSenior primary students of Class V impressed everyone with their creativity by crafting thoughtful Mother’s Day bags. These functional and decorative bags carried not just artistic flair, but also the immense love each child feels for their mother. Each activity was more than just a craft—it was a gesture of appreciation, a message of love, and a tribute to the selfless spirit of motherhood. Like Reads: 26 At Faith Academy, we believe that understanding and appreciating our rich heritage shapes responsible, aware citizens. On May 1, 2025, our students from Classes I to V immersed themselves in Our Heritage Activities — a day filled with creativity, learning, and joy! Here’s a glimpse into the exciting activities across the classes: Class I – Show and Tell: National SymbolsOur youngest learners confidently took the stage, sharing five lines about their chosen national symbol — be it the tiger, peacock, lotus, or the tricolor. Their adorable cutouts and props added a delightful touch, making the session both educational and entertaining. Class II – Draw the National SymbolArmed with A3 sheets and colors, Class II students brought our national symbols to life. From vivid peacocks to majestic lions, their artwork showcased creativity and a deep connection to national pride. Class III – Heritage Building CollageClass III students crafted stunning collages of world heritage buildings, from the Taj Mahal to the Colosseum. The activity helped broaden their understanding of global heritage while sharpening their artistic skills. Class IV – Seven Wonders 3D ArtTaking things up a notch, Class IV explored the wonders of the world through 3D art projects. Students wowed everyone with models of the Great Wall of China, Machu Picchu, and the Taj Mahal, confidently presenting 10 lines about their chosen wonder. Class V – Travel Brochure for the Seven WondersOur Class V explorers became mini travel agents, designing three-fold brochures packed with fascinating details about one of the Seven Wonders. Their presentations reflected careful research and sparked wanderlust in all of us! Why It MattersThese activities not only nurtured creativity but also instilled a sense of pride in our cultural heritage and a curiosity about the world. Watching our students research, create, and present with enthusiasm was a powerful reminder of the importance of experiential learning.
